“Push to Add Drama”… Guerrilla Marketing at its Best

To promote their upcoming launch in Belgium, the Turner-owned TNT Network placed a large red button in the square of a small Belgian town next to a conspicuous sign that read “Push to add drama.”

Most people crossing the square had a look and then carried on their journey, but there were a few curious locals who did ‘push it’. And when they did all hell broke loose. An ambulance siren starts its wail and sets off a chain reaction that features everything from fistfights and lingerie-clad women riding motorcycles to a police shootout and a squad of American football players. Onlookers are clearly stunned by the impressive display that has to be one of the best examples of guerrilla marketing.

The agency for the TNT stunt was Antwerp based Duval Guillaume; well recognised masters of guerrilla marketing.
